Senior Electrical Engineer

Our client is a leading international manufacturing company seeks for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team. You will be responsible for engineering and technical matters ensuring that the best practice is set.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design preliminary details engineering of industrialization project
  • Design several electrical project criteria
  • Concept, design  and implementation of high-quality portable instruments for non-destructive testing (NDT)  from the initial idea to series production
  • Buildup and enhancement of technical and application-specific expertise with strong emphasis on ultrasonic testing and related imaging techniques
  • Technical responsibility sub-systems or component functionality.
  • Communication to customer
  • Development of technical solution proposals.
  • Product development in sensor technology, analog and digital electronics, firmware, and signal processing
  • Experimental characterization and verification
  • Work within  multi-disciplinary cross-functional  R&D  groups  including electronics,  software,  mechanics,  application specialists, and product management
  • Active participation in a dynamic, agile, adaptive and modular development process
  • After incorporation project leading tasks can be added if required
  •  Close collaboration with the process development team and the technical team production

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree in in mechatronics, electronics or computer science
  • Profound experience in ultrasonics technology (incl. phased array techniques, SAFT, TFM)
  • 3-7 years of work experience in an interdisciplinary high-tech product development environment
  • Passionate and very good understanding of physics and electrical engineering challenges
  • Proficiency in C, MATLAB
  • Enthusiastic team player who appreciates working in interdisciplinary teams
  • Excellent German and English knowledge, knowledge of another foreign language would be advantageous
  • Experience with Altium, VHDL/FPGA, Python, or embedded Linux would be a plus
  • Capacity in project management
