As a Senior Corporate Legal Counsel M&A, you’ll work with team members who are passionate about the law. You’ll have a diverse range of responsibilities, primarily focused on mergers & acquisitions and corporate law, but will also help us with other legal matters. As part of the role, you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with broad responsibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Legal and law advice to the companies of the company and it’s subsideries, handling special corporate law issues
  • Independent conception, preparation and negotiation of contracts in the field of mergers & acquisitions
  • Close cooperation with the senior management
  • Management and coordination of internal and external legl processes as well as active support  within the team
  • Participate in various projects

Requirements:

  • Above-average State Exam Grades (you need to be FULLY QUALIFIED GERMAN LAWYER)
  • 5-7 years relevant professional experience in a leading law firm (or corporate law department) with a focus on corporate law
  • Experience in the negotiation of complex contracts in the media environment or other relevant / comparable industries
  • Ability to create a creative contractual concept in the context of the design of new business models
  •  Strong understanding of business contexts and complex issues
  •  High motivation to learn and willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with new and special tasks
  • Entrepreneurship and dealmaker mentality
  • Business fluent English spoken and written as well as good IT skills (MS Office package)
