Business Development Manager

Our client, is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of precision turned parts, drive components, gear kits and complex systems solutions, is looking for Business Development Manager to be based in South West Germany.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the assigned territory to develop net new business through new customer acquisition, working closely with product specialists, trainers, and other resources to develop an overall plan to grow revenue.
  •  Influence and motivate others to support and drive towards shared goals.
  • Leverage unique relationships with influencers and decision makers to support lead generation and sales activity.
  • Build, manage, and maintain a significant pipeline of new business sufficient to meet and exceed territory goals and constantly engage in filling the funnel, progressing the sales process, and closing deals.
  • Create plan for the overall territory and write account plans for significant new sales prospects. Ensure account plan is making progress and is aligned to other objectives in the account.

Requirements:

  • Completed studies in mechanical or automotive engineering.
  • Network and experience across automotive or power tool markets
  • At least 5 years of sales experince.
  • Deep sales skills and excellent communication skills
  • Advanced German and English skills,  Italian  advantageous
